octogirl

Since the main goal of our material is to promote inclusion, we decided to use it as the foundation for a project specifically designed for girls: OCTOGIRL. The project consists of workshops that encourage and connect girls to STEAM careers, featuring conversations about female leadership and the challenges women face in these fields, along with hands-on robotics activities using the Octobook. More than just teaching technical concepts, OCTOGIRL provides a space for support, inspiration, and encouragement.

octoficina

We don’t limit our initiatives to a single audience, because everyone should have the chance to develop their potential. OCTOFICINA brings our robot to the community, inspiring children through fun workshops with recyclable materials and programming activities. During the workshops, they learn engineering and logic concepts in a practical and playful way, exploring their creativity and curiosity. The skills they gain help children engage with science, technology, and robotics from an early age, sparking interest in these fields and showing them that they can become leaders in the world of technology.

indigenous    people

With the impact we were creating in our community, we decided to take an even more important step: bringing this knowledge to indigenous communities in our region. We introduced robotics in three villages, Kopenote, Tereguá, and Ekeruá, by sharing our robot and educational materials, always respecting and valuing their culture. This experience inspired us to translate our collection into indigenous dialects and to integrate cultural elements into the Octobook, connecting STEAM to their traditions.
